Recreate this 60's Inspired Look
Lauren's Beautiful 60's Style coat was the reasoning for the look of this photo shoot...It needed a sassy sixties styling to compliment it.
The make up is all about the liquid liner!
Using a waterproof liquid liner I enhanced the lid with a thick line, finishing off with a fuller flick…be brave, the bigger the better in this case.
Lauren already has fantastic lashes so I added some subtle false lashes to add a bit more depth and using Benefit “They’re Real” Mascara finished off the look.
The rest of the make up was keep quite minimal with a light pink blusher to add some tone to the cheeks and I defined the eyebrows with a matt eye shadow to keep it soft.
I kept the lipstick nude using my favourite Maybelline matte; this was to keep focus on the eyes.
Sixties hair was all about glamour, femininity and Bouffant!
I started by adding a slight curl in the hair with straighteners to add some volume and texture. Then using a backcomb brush took small sections around the crown and backcombed at the root. Next bring the hair around from the sides and top and smoothing with a soft bristle brush to the back, secure in place with grips, overlapping the hair to ensure the grips are hidden.
Leave hair around face and front to soften.
Finish with strong hairspray and shine spray.
